Behind the Golden Shield

Ronald Schaefer, a citizen journalist from OhMyNews, writes on the difficulties for people researching and writing from the other side of the Great Firewall of China. The list of companies complicit in censorship grows and grows, from Yahoo! to Cisco, and MSN to Skype.
Especially spooked to hear about the innocuously named goverment campaign "Let the Winds of a Civilized Internet Blow", which seeks to turn everyone into moderators on each others' content.
